![]() Making the switch from my old intune i2 to a Trinity 2 was smooth and easy. I can't thank you enough for waking my truck up from the slug it was before! I just drove my truck after installing the two tunes from you and holy smokes! First my V8 stays a V8 and the power and transmission difference is amazing! I really appreciate your magic. I dont drive the truck hard, but i had to a few times on the way home just to check out the new power! Thanks Lew! You really know your stuff with these tunes! ![]() Hoping this truly does increase the fuel mileage. SURE does act different now! Very "alive" feeling now! Very happy so far. You did a spectacular job! Thank you!Īll i can say is WOW.what a difference! I installed the Lew tune on my lunchbreak and then drove it 32 miles home. But now, the drivability is enjoyable, and idle, throttle response, and trans shifting is smooth and spot-on. Had I not found your tuning, I would have cut my losses and traded this truck off. Wow!! Amazing!! These trucks should come like this from the factory. Even being lifted 7" and on 35" tires, it's quicker than any other truck I've had and so far my mpg average is up about 5 mpg. Man I just want you to know that after I put the "Diablo Tune" on here, I was really skeptical at how much better could your tune be, and I would like to apologize for even thinking that. No more of the transmission being confused on what gear it should be in. I got a chance to drive it and it's an entire new truck! Wished I'd known about this a lot sooner! Drives like it should from the factory and shifts seem to be a lot better. Thank you so much!!! I will be recommending you to tune all my buddys trucks!! It feels like you installed a 6.2 litre in this beast. I haven't hammered on it yet but I don't need to. This truck is a rocket now! And 6th gear is no longer a turd on the highway. Ever since I have installed your tune on my truck, it seems like it brought it to life! The truck has never had throttle response like it does now and I did notice that I am getting 1.5-2 more mpg! I am glad everything worked out the way it did! ![]() I could not be any happier! Ever since I put 33's on my 2002 Silverado 5.3 truck about 6 months back, I could notice a huge difference in loss of power and the truck simply felt like it struggled. Need some help here, thanks. Here is a small sample of just some of the many testimonials I have received. I contacted the tuner and ask for a new file, they emailed me one, but they only changed ON/OFF temps under fan setting (which seems irrelevant to the issue) and he's insisting problem is not the tune. Truck has factory 3 wire pressure sensor on high side. It just doesn't respond to A/C HP sensor signal, apparently it doesn't cut off compressor clutch either, as it continues to run ( I checked with manual A/C gauge and high side was like 550PSI before I turn it off ).Recirculation fitted is set to "Fan # 2", Type fitted is set to "serial cycling" and "platform type" is set to "H2"by the tuner (All tunes with Efans I checked this field is set to "GMT800"). On A/C request, compressor clutch activates like normal, HP sensor reads around 1.0V and starts to go up (close to 4V), condenser gets super hot, but no fan kicks on. Fans work flawlessly as the ect goes up, no problem. Hi, I also did e fan conversion on a 2003 truck (Hummer H2). I also made small changes to Start-up Airflow Initial on the same page and Spark Start-up Flare Control as they seem to spring to life a bit more freely without the clutch fan drag.how can I download the patch file.? New member I signed in etc I just made a new "Fan Patch" file with the suggested airflow changes for fan electrical drag. I also made small changes to Start-up Airflow Initial on the same page and Spark Start-up Flare Control as they seem to spring to life a bit more freely without the clutch fan drag. The patch file did not originate with me but if I am passing them around they should have all that suits an e-fan retrofit. I suppose that I need to make these and a few other minor changes to the patch files before posting them anymore. I just added it to my tune and all of the clients' tunes that I have done this swap for.now to call them to stop by for a slight improvement. This helps a bit with the extra drag/bump from the alternator when the fans kick in. Under Engine>Idle>Airflow>Cooling fan airflow 2005 stock truck/suvs have 2.0 lb/h for Fan 1 and 4.4lb/h for Fan 2. One quick thing to add, after doing a few of these e-fans I noticed something that is NOT in the patch file I posted.that IS in a stock 2005 file.
